Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is an emergency procedure consisting of chest compressions often combined with artificial ventilation, or mouth to mouth in an effort to manually preserve normal brain functioning.
Newer techniques involve just chest compressions - no mouth to mouth required.
This is one of the most useful first aid tools that one can and should learn.
